Lindsey Appell is a student of English literature at the University of Montana.  Originally from Roundup, Montana, she has a love and appreciation for the various landscapes and small towns across this wide state.  She has published poetry and essays in The Oval and Montana Heritage Education, and is currently working on a novella inspired by the The Gathering: Oral Histories of the Irish in Montana.
